I'm continuing my posts of Teddy Bear stories. This one has some grammatical errors, but it was sent from someone who lives in a country far from me and English is their second language. I'm leaving this particular story the way it is just because it tells a nice story and it was written from the heart...

I have liked Teddy Bears very much from my childhood onwards I used to play with them. One of my favorite Teddy Bears was the one given to me by my sister when we were both little. I had other Teddy bears, but that is the only one I could fall asleep with at night. My father gave me a huge Teddy bear on my next birthday, but I still loved the one from my sister the best. Those two bears were also the start of my collection. It isn't the biggest Teddy bear collection in the world, but they cover my bed and I move them every night before going to bed.

I can still remember how I got my very first teddy bear, It was 29 years ago when I was still in grade school.
I think that my teddy bear was the cutest and the best one in the world. Why? Because this was the biggest for me that time, and has the most sentimental value compared to the most dolls I have had.

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to speak to large groups of people as a part of my regular work routine. Many of the people I speak to are collectors of various items. I recently asked some collectors to share stories of favorite items they have either based collections on, or just kept for sentimental reasons. When I mentioned Teddy Bears as an example, I saw a few faces light up before they began writing. I thought it would be nice to share some of their stories.
